Highlights of some of the events held annually in this village: Feira do Tordo, the 19th edition of which took place in 2021, is organized annually by the Ass. de Casa e Pesca da Nossa Srª. do Viso in collaboration with the Junta de Freguesia and the Câmara Municipal de Mirandela, at this fair we can appreciate the quality of the regional products, which are of the highest quality. The Cherry Fair, organized annually during the month of May, in partnership between the Parish Council and Mirandela Town Council, invites many exhibitors to sell their first cherry productions, but in addition to this highly desirable fruit, we can also find other regional products at this fair, such as bread, cheese, honey, sausages, among others. This fair offers locals and visitors a convivial snack and musical entertainment. The Mascarenhas cherry is usually of a good caliber and of very satisfactory quality.
Also noteworthy is the Mascarenhas festival, which takes place every year in August in honor of Our Lady of the Nativity.
This farm is located in the heart of the Terra Quente Transmontana and is a good reason to own it.
